A beautiful island in which to learn English

Accent is based in Guernsey, one of the Channel Islands (= Iles Anglo-Normandes). Guernsey is English-speaking but within sight of France and an ideal location for European students attending English language courses. It is friendly, safe and easily accessible with flights to Paris, London, Southampton, Zurich, and daily fast ferry connections to St Malo in France.

Guernsey is the ideal place to learn English as a Foreign Language (EFL) since it is a small, friendly island with a beautiful capital town, St Peter Port. Guernsey is very popular with British tourists and has many things to offer. Language students will enjoy the many places of historical interest, while admiring the breathtaking scenery of cliffs and beaches. It is easy to travel around the island by bus and no place is further than a 2-3 kilometers from a beach. The water is warmer than the sea in England and the beaches are not as crowded as you find on the south coast resorts.

Accent Language Centre opened in 1990 and we welcome hundreds of students to Guernsey every year.
